I had my last normal period, I am on birth control pills (unfortunately for my partners peace of mind, I want a guy, but he isn't ready until after marriage). when i had implantation bleeding it sounded very much like what you described...only i had it two weeks after my period not when my period was due...so really i think it could go either way...

of all the symptoms you mentioned though one rang true for me...when i was pregnant with my second guy before i knew i was...i ate way more than normal..i was hungry all the time...so that could be a good sign.

i know you are afraid of being heart broken but remember this...if its negative...that does not mean you won't ever have that positive test...
